Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Chemical Engineer based in Hilton, NY. The Chemical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and improving chemical processes, conducting lab tests, analyzing data, and ensuring quality control. Daily tasks include developing and optimizing production methods, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with other engineers and departments to enhance operational efficiency. The role also involves ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and Laboratory Skills
Experience in Process Engineering for blending of caustic solutions
Excellent Communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
Proficiency in using relevant engineering and analysis software
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems is a plus
