Environmental Scientist

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Scientist who is eager to engage in a wide variety of projects and fieldwork assignments. The role involves providing both fieldwork and office support for site investigations and environmental inspections, while working under the guidance of senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fieldwork and assist with ongoing projects throughout the five boroughs.
• Support the preparation of project planning documents, data evaluation, and report preparation under the guidance of senior staff.
• Work efficiently both individually and as part of project teams.
• Track and meet contractual and regulatory deadlines.

• Environmental science knowledge
• Experience in environmental fieldwork
• HAZWOPER certification
• Experience with environmental inspections
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field
• Over 5 years of experience in the health and safety industry, with a focus on environmental compliance

• Strong understanding of environmental compliance and regulations

The position involves performing environmental inspections in the field as part of a team of project managers and environmental scientists. Our team is part of a national building solutions firm dedicated to making buildings safe, healthy, resilient, and sustainable. We bring extensive expertise in sustainability, decarbonization, building codes, resiliency, and inspections to our projects.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of New York, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
