• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly record all procedures, assist in training newcomers or students, and ensure the lab maintains established quality benchmarks.
• Uphold a clean, safe workspace while following all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Achievement of ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hiring.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification throughout your employment.
