Description What Your Role Involves

• Conduct both standard and advanced clinical lab analysescovering areas such as chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondfollowing established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance alongside calibration duties on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with sample collection and prepare specimens for thorough examination, as necessary.
• Meticulously document all procedures, mentor new personnel or students, and support the integrity of lab quality standards.
• Ensure a safe, clean working environment, while adhering to the required regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health qualification, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) Board certification to be achieved within the first year of employment.
• Commitment to maintaining active certification throughout your service.
