Description Your Role

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across various fields such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, abiding by established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection and preparation of specimens for testing as necessary.
• Keep meticulous documentation of procedures, provide training for new staff or interns, and uphold laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain your certification throughout your tenure with us.
