Summary: Seeking a Quality Control Technician I with experience in monitoring and validating product specifications in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- 6-12 months of experience in a Quality Control role
- Ability to lift 70 pounds safely
- Basic math skills, including algebra, ratios, and conversions
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have 20/20 or corrected vision
Preferred Skills:
- Experience as a quality lab technician
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Background in statistical analysis
- Experience with Quality Control/Assurance requirements
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to plant safety requirements and wear proper PPE
- Perform routine quality checks using measuring devices per SOPs
- Record testing results and track deviations using Excel or manual documents
- Communicate quality results with operators during production runs
- Test incoming raw materials for quality standards
- Ensure finished products meet specifications within the SAGE system
- Coordinate testing and release of finished products from quarantine
- Seek assistance for unresolved issues from management or corporate lab personnel
- Collect samples for supporting field quality concerns
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area
Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
