Responsibilities

CHEMICAL RESEARCH TECHNICIAN

Our Fortune 500 Petrochemical Chemical customer is seeking a long-term contractor is Work in Process Research Laboratories running small scale process units and other various lab techniques.
Research Process Unit Operation (Lab Scale)
Wet Benchtop Chemistry (Catalyst Preparation, etc)
Analytical Equipment Operation (eg. GC, GC/MS)
Unit / Analytical Troubleshooting & Maintenance
Data Workup
GC Method Development /
Modification
Unit / Lab Notebook record keeping
Execute and oversee change management
Order lab supplies and submit work orders
Implement LOTO on complex systems
Perform instrumentation and piping work

Requirements
Prefer BS, Chemistry or related field
Will consider a minimum of 1 year of prior relevant experience with an AAS (biology, chemistry, lab technician, etc.)
No degree with experience may be applicable (example: no degree but has worked in a lab previously and/or has relevant technical-focused military experience.
