Job Description As a Chemical Analyst, you will conduct chemistry testing and equipment qualification efficiently and effectively, following standard operating procedures, regulations, and cGMPs. You will play a pivotal role in customer projects for the Chemistry Laboratory and handle documentation and assessment of test results against specifications. Responsibilities
- Review documentation and release incoming materials such as APIs, excipients, and processing auxiliaries.
- Ensure project milestones for the Chemistry Laboratory are met promptly, including laboratory qualifications.
- Establish, review, and approve documentation such as SOPs.
- Conduct, document, and assess analytical testing of raw materials, utilities, and in-process, release, and stability testing of finished products according to SOPs and cGMPs/GLPs.
- Collect samples of raw materials and utilities.
- Train colleagues on mastered techniques in the Chemistry Laboratory.
- Maintain the Chemistry Laboratory in a GMP-compliant state.
- Collaborate with vendors for external qualification and maintenance of chemical analysis instrumentation, and conduct internal qualification and maintenance of the same.
- Review and verify analytical testing results.
- Complete Laboratory Investigations as required.
- Ensure all tasks comply with safety, environmental protection, and cGMP regulations.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by management.
- Proficiency in cGMP and GLP practices.
- Strong background in Chemistry, particularly analytical chemistry.
- Experience with HPLC, pH meters, and pH testing.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Bachelors degree in a scientific subject.
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
- Undergraduate research experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices.
- Basic knowledge of HPLC and pH meters.
