- Perform QC testing on the production floor, including metal detection checks, leak tests, and percentage tests.
- Conduct line audits every hour on each production line, including first piece, in-process, and final inspections/QC tests.
- Calculate percentages of materials and total ounces for quality assessment.
- Conduct basic testing such as moisture, salt, and fat using automated testing equipment.
- Document daily numbers and testing performed in both paper and digital formats.
- Collaborate with production personnel to perform QC checks and address any errors that arise.
- Understanding of quality control processes in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of food quality processes.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations using a calculator, such as percentages.
- High school diploma, HSED, or GED.
- 1+ years of food quality control experience, including HACCP.
- Proficiency in performing percentage calculations.
