Cell Line Development Research Associate

The Cell Line Development Research Associate will contribute to the creation of stable cell lines for recombinant adeno-associated viral vector (rAAV) production processes. This role involves executing experiments, analyzing data, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Culture mammalian cells for viral production using shake flasks, spinner flasks, spin tubes, deep wells, and automation platforms.
Support development, optimization, and scale-up of AAV producer cell lines.
Prepare experimental protocols, data analysis summaries, and technical reports.
Optimize transfection and transduction protocols for new engineered cell lines.
Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and ensure compliance with quality/safety standards.
Collaborate with project teams on cell line stability and process improvements.
Qualifications:
Master s in Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related field with 2 5 years experience
(B.S. with 3 6 years may also be considered)
Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture (small- to bench-scale bioreactors).
Experience with viral vector production preferred.
Strong background in molecular biology techniques (cloning, SDS-PAGE/western blotting, qPCR).
Knowledge of AAV biology is a plus.
Familiarity with automation platforms and ELN is desirable.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Must be flexible for occasional long hours, weekends, or holiday work depending on experiment schedules.
