Role Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled scientist to join our innovative Inorganic Material Mechanics team in Product Reliability Technology directorate. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled scientist with a strong background in mechanical, or materials engineering to advance the development of fundamental mechanical behavior models, reliability methodologies, and characterization techniques for glass, glassceramics, ceramics and thin optical films.
As part of Corning's core research organization, you will support development of cutting-edge solutions that support our key business units like Optical Communications, Mobile Consumer Electronics, and Advanced Optics.
