Your Role: Process Engineer (TS/MS)
As a Process Engineer within the TS/MS team, you will support manufacturing by driving process improvements, troubleshooting deviations, and ensuring process capability and control. In this role, youll collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Operations, and R&D to maintain compliant, efficient, and robust vaccine manufacturing processes.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead and support process troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and deviation investigations to prevent recurrence
Drive process improvements, capability analysis, and optimization of manufacturing processes
Partner with QC, AS&T, and R&D to support assay performance, technical transfers, and new product introductions
Develop and update SOPs, batch records, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
Analyze process data, identify critical parameters, and apply statistical tools to support process changes and decision-making
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Education: Bachelors degree in engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Veterinary Science, or related field
Experience: Experience working in a team environment and managing projects within defined timelines
Top 2 skills: Strong problem-solving and process troubleshooting capability + ability to collaborate and influence across cross-functional teams
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
Masters degree or 3+ years of experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical manufacturing
Experience in regulated environments (cGMP, USDA, or similar)
Knowledge of vaccine manufacturing processes (fermentation, tissue culture, downstream processing)
Proficiency in statistical analysis and process capability tools
Experience supporting technical transfer, process validation, and continuous improvement initiatives
