A Day in the Life

As an Analyst I , youll be responsible for assisting multiple projects where you will have increasing interaction with our multi-disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. You will be part of a strong team of committed professionals.

The hourly compensation range for this role is $18.00 to $20.00 , commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

Schedule: 1st shift, Monday - Friday

To thrive in this role, youll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain GCMS and Formaldehyde instruments, including daily set up, weekly and monthly checks and review of quality control data.
  • Process and Interpret data using GCMS Instrument Data Acquisition and processing software
  • Preparation of calibration standards
  • Use basic chemistry equipment such as micro-syringes, balances, pipettes, etc.
  • Use laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
  • Assess instrument performance
  • Assist in writing SOPs and other essential documents
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned
  • Comply with Health and Safety Program
  • Comply with Quality Assurance Program and other policies

  • BA / BS Degree in Chemistry or related Sciences (or equivalent training)
  • Effective communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently following applicable training
  • Flexibility with changing priorities

  • Sitting, standing, and walking
  • Lifting 50 pounds several times a day
  • Overhead lifting of over 20 pounds
  • Works in an office and/or laboratory environment
  • May be exposed to hot and cold environments and extreme weather conditions, including sunlit, rainy and windy conditions
  • May occasionally work shifts up to 12 hours in duration
