Gas & Chemical Technician

Our client, a leader in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, is seeking a Gas & Chemical Technician to join their team. As a Gas & Chemical Technician, you will be part of the operations support team supporting critical gas and chemical systems across multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong technical aptitude, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Gas & Chemical Technician

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Pay Range: $28-32

Shift: Temporary shift M - F 7:00 am - 3:30 pm for initial training; subsequent shifts to be determined

What's the Job?

• Support and lead the technical demands of gas and chemical equipment across the site
• Ensure compliance with operation and maintenance procedures
• Assist in emergency preparedness and drive flawless execution of safety protocols
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain over 2000 pieces of distribution equipment from various vendors
• Support installation, decommissioning, and complex troubleshooting of gas and chemical systems

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior experience in maintenance, equipment technician roles, or mechanical/electronic environments is a plus
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs, climbing ladders, and wearing PPE
