Experience producing internal progress reports and formal technical reports for publication
Experience working with materials and process development in battery or cell manufacturing environments
Job Responsibilities: Plan and establish engineering directives for powder handling, slurry mixing, and web coating processes
Characterize electrode physical and electrochemical properties to optimize electrode processing
Understand cell and battery requirements and derive the material and component performance needed for successful product development
Perform material and component sub-assembly tests to support new cell designs
Develop handling and processing methods for new materials used in R D or production of cells
Produce routine internal progress reports and formal technical reports for publication
