Associate Research Scientist

Columbia Universitys Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology invites applications for a research position available to begin at the rank of Associate Research Scientist in one of our research units. Positions include both laboratory and translational research.

As an Associate Research Scientist, this appointment will be covered by a collective bargaining agreement between the University and Columbia Postdoctoral Workers-UAW Local 4100.

Minimum Qualifications: MD, PhD, or both. Candidate must have background in research specialty in the Department of Medicine.

Preferred Qualifications: Relevant experience in research unit and the ability to supervise graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.

Hiring Salary Range: $79,327 Annual - $85,000 Annual

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
