Mechanical/Chemical Facilities Engineer needed to support industrial facility piping, HVAC, equipment layout, fire protection, and process utility design for tool installation projects. Job Requirements Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field Knowledge of AutoCAD Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word and Excel Ability to read and work with design drawings Experience with engineering calculations Experience with equipment and component sizing, selection, and specification Ability to conduct field visits and site walks at active construction sites EIT or ability to obtain EIT Facilities-related engineering experience preferred Preferred Skills Semiconductor manufacturing facility design experience Tool installation project experience Industrial or manufacturing facility design experience Experience with retrofit design for existing building systems Experience designing wet and dry piping systems Experience with HVAC, exhaust, plumbing, fire protection, water, wastewater, process chemical, and gas systems Experience supporting construction and factory integration activities Experience working on multi-disciplinary engineering teams Job Responsibilities Design and lay out wet piping, dry piping, equipment, HVAC, exhaust, fire suppression, process chemical piping, and gas systems Support design for complex industrial and manufacturing facilities Design retrofit solutions for existing building systems to support tool installation Perform engineering calculations for facility systems Size, select, and specify equipment and system components Provide design and oversight for piping and equipment related to HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems Support water, wastewater, process chemical, and process gas system design Provide construction support during installation and integration into the factory Conduct field walks and site visits to review active construction conditions Prepare and update design drawings, calculations, spreadsheets, and engineering documentation Pay: 33-44/hr Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
