responsibilities:
Laboratory & Analytical Methods

  • Collect routine samples from production areas according to established schedules and procedures.
  • Perform chemical and physical analyses on incoming ingredients, in-process materials, allergens, and finished products.
  • Execute standard testing protocols accurately, ensuring compliance with established work instructions and approved methodologies.
  • Support the integration of new analytical methods, instrumentation, and laboratory technologies.
Data, Documentation & Compliance

  • Perform peer review of laboratory data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Input test results into digital systems (e.g., LIMS) with precision and high attention to detail.
  • Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results, identify root causes, and promptly escalate findings to Quality Leadership.
  • Strictly adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory guidelines, and corporate safety policies.
  • Participate in internal audits, proficiency testing programs, and method verification/validation studies.
  • Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) investigations and contribute to drafting or revising laboratory work instructions.
Cross-Functional Factory Support

  • Collaborate daily with Production, Sanitation, Engineering, and Quality assurance teams to deliver timely testing results.
  • Provide training and troubleshooting support to factory operations personnel performing analytical testing on the production floor.
  • Follow all facility safety and environmental objectives, reporting any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
  • Manage chemical inventory, prepare reagents and standards, and ensure proper hazardous waste disposal.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
  • Prepare, document, and manage samples designated for external laboratory analysis.
  • Provide flexible support across various laboratory testing stations during peak workloads or staffing gaps.

qualifications:
Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Food Science, or a closely related scientific discipline (or equivalent foundational laboratory experience).
  • 0-2 years of experience in a laboratory environment (industry experience or strong academic lab background).
  • Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment and wet chemistry techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail, digital literacy, and the ability to maintain meticulous documentation.
  • Ability to work an alternative 12-hour night shift schedule (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) .
  • Commitment to strict safety, environmental, and quality regulatory standards.
Preferred:

  • Prior experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment (Food/Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, or Medical Devices).
  • Basic understanding of GMP, GLP, and CAPA systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation.
