Our client, a leader in the medical device and diagnostics industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a vital member of the Quality Assurance department supporting the manufacturing and testing processes, the ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a proactive approach to quality management, aligning successfully within a collaborative and innovative environment.

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Scarborough, ME

Pay Range: $25/hr - $28/hr on W2

Whats the Job?

+ Perform testing of in-process components for Lateral Flow, ELISA , and Molecular products to ensure quality standards are met.

+ Conduct final release testing for various diagnostic products, maintaining accuracy and compliance.

+ Troubleshoot technical and quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.

+ Undertake new procedures while observing proper safety precautions to uphold laboratory safety standards.

+ Review batch records, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Whats Needed?

+ Associates degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.

+ At least 1 year of laboratory and/or quality control experience in a regulated environment.

+ Knowledge of GMP , FDA , ISO , and USDA regulations is preferred.

+ Experience with pipetting, pH meters, and ELISA assays is advantageous.

+ Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and effective documentation skills.
