Junior Laboratory Analyst

We are seeking a Junior Laboratory Analyst in Thompson's Station Tennessee 37179 with $20.00/hour pay for a 2-month, temp opportunity. This role is an entry-level laboratory position supporting scientific research and quality testing through sample analysis, experiment support, documentation, and lab maintenance. The role involves working in a fast-paced microbiology laboratory environment while following strict safety and quality procedures APPLY NOW!

Schedule: Tuesday Saturday | 8: 00 AM 4: 30 PM, overtime when needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, prepare, and manage laboratory samples.
• Perform chemical or biological testing and record results.
• Support controlled experiments and laboratory projects.
• Maintain laboratory documentation and reports.
• Operate, clean, and maintain lab equipment.
• Prepare microbiological media and reagents.
• Assist with inventory, equipment checks, and environmental monitoring.
• Follow all laboratory safety and quality standards.

What We re Looking For:

• Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
• 1 2 years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Experience with sample handling, lab equipment, and documentation.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and laboratory safety practices preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Experience with LIMS, Excel, or laboratory systems is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
