The Medical Laboratory Technician implements the clinic's mission, goals and objectives by exemplifying the short- and long-term vision, values, and goals of the department by providing professional clinical laboratory science services including the performance of clinical laboratory testing, proficiency testing, quality control, professional consultation, instrument maintenance and validation, testing validation, testing management and other functions toward the attainment of these goals. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and values of Providence Health & Services.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree Clinical Laboratory Science, one of the specialty areas, or one of the chemical or biological sciences.
- Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or
- Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists Or
- Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts Or
- Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or
- Upon hire: National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or
- Upon hire: National Laboratory Tech - United States Government
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a medical laboratory.
