Send job Job Details Scientist I (R D) Location: Onsite at140 6th St, Cambridge, MA 02142 Pay Rate: $35-$42/hour, based on experience 1 year contract with potential for extension and/or permanent placement Weekly pay and healthcare benefits offered Job Summary & Responsibilities The Physical Biochemistry group requests a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate Scientist to join the group for operational efficiencies. The selected candidate will contribute to a fast-paced, innovative research environment focused on addressing unmet medical needs across immunology, rare disease, and neuroscience therapeutic areas. This position provides opportunities to collaborate within the Therapeutics modalities department. The candidate is expected to execute multi-step processes independently and proactively and communicate progress effectively in oral and written communications. Enable efficient reagent and study organization, documentation, and data reporting, as well as monitoring how protein reagents are stored and distributed across the department. Perform crystallization workflows or straight forward biophysical analysis workflows Enable crystal storage and shipping Demonstrate diligence in equipment maintenance, inventory tracking, and proactive ordering of laboratory supplies, and provide support for day-to-day laboratory management activities. Contribute to effective general laboratory organization and best practices for lab safety. Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Biochemistry or related field, with 12 years of relevant experience in an industrial and/or academic laboratory setting. The candidate must demonstrate strong collaborative skills and excellent communication skills.
