Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for those holding an Associate or Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field. You will be working in a laboratory or quality control environment, where you will be an integral part of our manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and experiments following standard procedures.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, or other quality standards in manufacturing.
• Maintain accurate documentation of laboratory activities and results.
• Operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality control and consistency in processes.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or other quality standards in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in laboratory data systems.

Work Environment

The position is based in a laboratory and manufacturing environment with regular exposure to chemicals, reagents, and laboratory equipment. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety goggles, bump cap, and chemical resistant steel toe shoes are required. Depending on standard operating procedures, gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator may also be needed. The role may involve shift work, overtime, and weekend work as per production demands. The environment can be dusty and subject to temperature fluctuations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Stroudsburg, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in East Stroudsburg,PA.
