Description
- Ensure full compliance with EPA, FDA, DEA, cGMP/cGLP regulations, OSHA standards, and internal SOPs within the QC lab and production environment
- Perform chemical testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, intermediates, finished products, and stability samples
- Review, interpret, and accurately document analytical data, ensuring validity and integrity of results
- Utilize and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation, including chromatography and wet chemistry techniques
- Support laboratory programs such as calibration, preventive maintenance, and equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ)
- Investigate out-of-specification or non-conforming results and execute root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Author and maintain controlled documents, including SOPs, test methods, and technical reports
- Manage lab operations tasks such as inventory, reagent preparation, hazardous waste handling, and maintaining notebooks/records
- Collaborate cross-functionally, communicate project updates, interact with vendors, and assist in training while serving as a subject matter expert when needed
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charles City, IA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
