Lab Technician
Job Description

The primary role of a Lab Technician is to conduct routine quality control laboratory tests for ion exchange resin manufacturing. This position typically works under the supervision of a chemist or senior lab technician.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, adjust, maintain, and clean quality control laboratory equipment.
  • Analyze the results of tests and experiments to ensure they conform to specifications, utilizing lab equipment.
  • Analyze, gather, and record test data to create reports using charts, graphs, and narratives.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing while maintaining attention to detail and solving problems.
  • Work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Possess basic material knowledge of resin-associated chemicals and techniques necessary for quality control testing according to resin production requirements.

Work Environment

The work environment requires long hours of standing inside the laboratory, with some office hours dedicated to data entry. The role necessitates the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) specific to laboratory settings.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
