Send job Job Details Job DescriptionJob Description To perform experiments, organize data and analyze results under minimal supervision. With minimal supervision, plans, conducts or monitors experiments, records and organizes data, analyses results, generates robust and reliable data. Responsibilities: Monitors or follows established protocols and performs routine productions to obtain reproducible and reliable results with limited supervision. Plans, monitors or conducts, analyzes and records experiments, and provides interpretation of data. Engages coworkers in scientific discussions. Communicates data and interpretation to work group. Skilled and/or knowledgeable in the use of standard laboratory tissue culture and automation equipment. Effectively trouble-shoots mammalian expression experimental difficulties. Contributes to internal/external reports, presentations. Coordinates and organizes resources needed to complete the full protein production process. Understands when to seek input and when to make independent judgments. Production of mAb like molecules in a stable CHO expression system. Production number and scale varies from very few molecules at a 2,500 mL scale in shake flasks to many hundreds of molecules at a 4 mL scale. Use of automation to transfect and passage large numbers of productions. Use of Benchling database system for electronic management of productions and generating ELN documentation. Use of aseptic technique. Measuring of harvest titers. Coordination with upstream cloners and downstream chemists for adherence to tight timelines. Requirements / Qualifications: Bachelors' degree & 2 Years of industry experience (MS acceptable with no more than 1 Year relevant experience) Degree in Biology, Biochemistry or Analytical Chemistry Experience in a Biopharmaceutical working environment Experience with aseptic technique Experience with recombinant protein expression Experience with CHO or HEK cell cultures.
