What you will enjoy doing* (DUTIES)

  • Take part in the technology development cycle, from understanding business requirements to data discovery and extraction, model development, prototyping, evaluation, and deployment
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand product requirements and define appropriate technical solutions
  • Lead technical development of cutting-edge analytics and decision support tools
  • Actively participate in technical development and coordinate the execution of projects involving multidisciplinary teams
  • Stay abreast of new technology development in order to actively contribute to the development of new programs
  • Effectively communicate findings and analysis to stakeholders and support new programs while maintaining and improving existing ones.

What makes you great (REQTS)

  • Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

  • Coursework/graduate research experience must include: Experience implementing machine learning technology to utilize available data to model future trends; Experience with production and distribution planning and scheduling to develop and improve analytical solutions for industrial gas use cases;

  • Experience with supply chain optimization and tools including GAMS, Supply Chain Guru or an equivalent software package to develop and improve solutions for industrial gas use cases; Utilizing linear programming, mixed-integer programming and nonlinear programming techniques to translate business problem into equations and to tune models for the industrial gas sector;

  • Utilizing knowledge of transport phenomena and other industrial concepts to grasp air-separation process details;

  • Working with programming tools including Python or C# to build tools for various needs such as industry modelling and calculations; Conducting research on modeling complex optimization problems in chemical/industrial setting; Developing reformulation and decomposition techniques that consider specific/particular model topology

  • TRAVEL REQT: 30% of domestic and international travel required

  • HOURS: Full-Time; Mon-Fri (40 hours per week)

SALARY: $111,218.00 - $112,000.00/year
