Adecco Healthcare and Life Sciences is hiring for a Chemist I in Clark, NJ. today if you meet the qualifications listed below.

Location: Clark, NJ

Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)

Pay rate: $22.79/HOUR

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Job Description:

Looking for a candidate with experience in our field (or related field ie: Personal Care/Paint/food) would make the workload much easier. Experience in stabilities, batching of cosmetics or related field.

Personality: Attention to detail/observant, clearmunication, leans toward optimization and efficiency, autonomous, accuracy in collating data, focused, lab experienced, willing to take on new techniques and tools, positive attitude.

Skills Required:

Bachelors +2 years exp/or certification/Diploma in Quality Control / Physical Measurements/ physical sciences, technical research experience in a laboratory setting, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, and clearmunication skills

Methodological andanized

Rigor and critical sense in conducting analysis and reporting results

Cooperative spirit and an ability to work in a team

Feedback mindset to improve the processes

Must beanized and have worked in a lab environment. Autonomous working and have good background in math/science

Experience with pH, Microscopy, Vieter/Rheometer, Foam analyzer. As a point of differentiation is a plus but not necessary.

Familiarity with batching equipment a plus - Olsa, disconti, silverson. As a point of differentiation is a plus but not necessary

Responsibilities:

Ensure the physicochemical characterization and the evaluation of the performance of hair and cosmetics products while respecting the defined protocols and quality criteria (microscopy, rheology, and other internal methods, etc.)

Assist Design of Experiments to analyze the stability, aspect, viscosity, and in-vitro experiments

Explore new methods of formula characterization.

Ensure theplete traceability of characterizations: from sample recovery to data provision

Contribute to the establishment of an operational flow of sample transfer logistics: from the formulation laboratory to the characterization laboratory. maintain stability records
