Quality Control Analyst I - QC Immunology (GMP Laboratory)
Fully Onsite | 1st Shift (Mon-Fri) | Temp Role | Swiftwater, PA
Pay: 28 to 32/hr depending on education and experience level
Position Summary
The Quality Control Analyst I supports routine immunology laboratory testing in a GMP-regulated environment. This entry-level role is responsible for executing standardized QC assays, supporting production and stability programs, and ensuring all testing and documentation activitiesply with cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
The position operates within a fast-paced laboratory environment requiring strong attention to detail, teamwork, and basic scientific troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
QC Immunology Testing & Laboratory Operations
Perform routine immunology QC testing in accordance with SOPs and validated methods
Support testing for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
Execute assays supporting production release, method validation, and stability programs
Perform laboratory techniques including pipetting, agarose gel electrophoresis, and related immunology assays
Data Analysis & Documentation
Record, review, and verify laboratory data inpliance with GMP standards
Perform data review and preliminary evaluation of test results
Enter and manage data within LIMS systems
Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Method Support & Troubleshooting
Assist in method execution and contribute to method development activities
Identify and troubleshoot routine assay issues using predefined procedures
Repeat assays when necessary to resolve deviations or invalid results
Provide input into laboratory documentation and procedural updates
Compliance & Quality Adnce
Strictly follow cGMP, FDA regulations, and internal SOPs
Ensure adnce to site safety and quality policies
Support validation and quality control procedures for laboratory assays
Work under close supervision while maintaining accuracy andpliance
Team Collaboration
Collaborate with laboratory staff and supervisors in a fast-paced team environment
Communicate clearly regarding testing progress, issues, and results
Contribute to routine technical tasks supporting QC operations
Participate in group problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent lab training
0-3 years of laboratory experience (entry-level position)
Basic experience with laboratory techniques such as pipetting and gel electrophoresis
Familiarity with LIMS systems and Microsoft Excel
Ability to follow SOPs and work in a regulated GMP environment
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based laboratory environment
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Academic or professional experience in immunology or QC testing
Exposure to GMP-regulated laboratory environments
Familiarity with stability testing or method validation workflows
Experience working in biotech or pharmaceutical lab settings
