About The Role

We are seeking a highly talented and motivated individual with a strong background in molecular/cell biology to join our Molecular Biology group in the pursuit of developing novel therapeutic agents. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and evaluating product candidates, with focus on performing experiments using recombinant DNA technology and developing antibody library construction and screening platforms. This role works in a collaboration with Protein Science, Translational Research, and Chemistry/Bioconjugation groups, onsite in a lab environment.

  • Develop and execute molecular biology related techniques to generate

expression constructs for therapeutic and reagent antibodies and derivatives

  • Generate and screen diverse antibody libraries and develop high-throughput

selection strategies and post-selection characterization

  • Perform experiments and collect data in a systematic manner with excellent

laboratory practice and maintain meticulous records of all experiments conducted

  • Propose and implement optimization and improvements for benchtop workflows

to increase efficiency and speed

  • Draft standard operating procedures and technical documents
  • Work collaboratively with project teams on-site to achieve critical company goals

and timelines

About You

  • Direct experience in basic molecular biology techniques, including cloning, PCR,

expression vector design and plasmid purification.

  • Experience working with recombinant protein/antibody production and antibody

library construction/phage display screening preferred but not required

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities, willing to learn new skills

and techniques

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, data analysis

and record keeping skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Strong team player with a proactive and positive attitude

Education

  • BS/MS in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry or equivalent with at

least 1-3 years of relevant hands on experience in industry or academic laboratory setting

At TAE Life Sciences, we consider a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and job-related knowledge, training; licenses and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements depending on the position offered. The compensation range for this role is $75,000 - $100,000.
