Description
Times will be variable: 7:00 AM to 3:00PM Or 10:00 AM- 6:00PM Or 2:00 PM OR 10:00 PM. We are also working on Saturdays. We ask that people volunteer 1 -2 Saturdays/month, 8:00AM - 3:00PM
Please make sure candidates submitted can accommodate the different shift times.
please inform candidates schedule is out 2 weeks in advance.
The only time there would be last minute schedule changes is if someone was out sick for example.
Please do not submit any candidate that is not flexible to this schedule.
Here is the scheduled for your reference: Monday - Friday : 8hrs between 7:00am - 10:00pm Saturday 1-2 times per month: 8:00AM- 2:30PM
Length: 1 year
Interview Process: 1st Phone Screen, 2nd Onsite interview
75% in the lab - working on assay and instruments of transfusion.
Testing new Transfusion Medicine products in a lab environment.
Data generated will be submitted to the FDA for approval.
25% at their desk; working on documentation
Experience:
1-2 years (Entry level will be considered)
Knowledgeable of Abbott Instruments is a plus; Lab experience, quality experience is a plus,
Preferred Experience:
Understanding of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
Key Skills:
Adaptability/ flexibility, attention to detail, strong documentation skills, understanding of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), execute studies per protocol, quick learner.
Education:
highest BS degree
Summary
Support Reagent manufacturing. Conduct investigations on internal nonconformances and customer complaints related to Reagents. Assist in developing/ improving Reagent manufacturing processes and/or products.
Major Responsibilities:
Design experiments and testing schemes, analyze data, write protocols and reports and present results to a cross-functional team.
Must demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills and be a team player.
Must possess a BS in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field with at least one to two years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations and audits a plus.
Familiar with process and test method validations.
Excellent communication skills.
Shall be able to perform under pressure to meet project deadlines.
