QC Chemists Allegan MI evening shift
Kelly Science and Clinical is currently recruiting for two qualified, full-time, contract to hire QC Lab Chemists in the Allegan, Michigan area.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine testing on purchased materials and finished products in the Quality Control Laboratory.
- e.g. preparing sample/standard solutions, performing physicals and identification testing (e.g. pH meter, density meter, UV-Visible Spectrometry, Infrared Spectrometry, Malvern particle size analyzer, titration, viscosity etc.), as well as quantitative analysis using the following instrumentation: HPLC, UPLC, GC, dissolution baths, Atomic Absorption etc.
Qualifications/Education/Skills:
- Bachelors in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field preferred HS diploma required. Recent graduates for 2025 strongly preferred and highly desirable.
- Strong computer skills with knowledge in Excel and Microsoft Word
- Must be detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task and work well individually and in a team environment to complete daily assignments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Pay/Hours :
- $21.50/hr (includes $0.50 shift differential) 2 nd shift 4PM 2AM, Mon Thurs two openings the shift differential will start post training, in which training is typically 2-3 weeks in duration. While training, pay is $21.00/hr
