- Demonstrate proficiency with standard chemical lab equipment and instrumentation.
- Utilize specialized laboratory instrumentation such as Thermogravimetric Analysis, Differential Scanning Calorimetry, Capillary Rheometry, Melt Indexers, Assay, HPLC, GC, and pH meters.
- Perform chemical analysis and quality control tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the laboratory setting.
- BS degree in Chemistry or related science degree with prior chemical manufacturing experience.
- 1-3 years' experience in a laboratory setting across various industries.
- 1-3 years of experience with Gas Chromatography and High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).
- Experience with LIMS systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with GMP/GLP documentation and SOP knowledge.
- Experience in an ISO certified facility.
- Industry lab experience is preferred over candidates without lab experience.
- Troubleshooting experience is advantageous.
The role is based in a laboratory setting on a night shift schedule (5PM to 5AM), following a 2-2-3 schedule. Initial training will be conducted on an 8-hour day shift for 3-4 weeks before transitioning to the 12-hour schedule. The environment involves performing various tests with results reported on batch sheets and LIMS systems. A tenured technical staff member will be available on-site for support.
