You will be using your skills and expertise to define, design, develop, test, certify and improve cutting-edge software products. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You'll perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and software throughout our development process. Your technical duties involve the design and development of new software products throughout the product lifecycle.The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. Responsibilities:

• Standard SW req plus the following below
• Serve as a Software Systems Development Engineer, designing, developing, and administering cloud computing platforms.
• Support testing of software applications within a CI/CD pipeline as part of a larger system of systems.
• Plan and execute software application testing through live, virtual and constructive environments.
• Develop, integrate, and validate models and data supporting software testing.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
• Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
• Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
• Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience working on or administering cloud computing platforms and technologies such as AWS, S3, AWS NS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Nifi, etc.
• This position requires the ability to obtain/maintain and Secret U.S. Security Clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker
• Experience working on of administering classified cloud computing platforms such as DAF CloudWorks, CloudONE, etc.
• Experience with DoD-focused open architecture specifications like OMS
• Experience with Command and Control Mission Systems
• Masters Degree in Computer Science
• Model Based Systems Engineering experience
• Experience supporting testing of software applications within a CI/CD workflow

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $94,345.12 - $129,724.54. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
