JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Medical Lab Technologist (MLT)/ Medical LaboratoryScientist (MLS) ensures consistent regulatory compliance, coordinatesthe day-to-day operations of the laboratory system, and assists in theleadership of the Westfields Hospital and Clinic Laboratory. WorkSchedule: 40 hrs. weekly / 1.0 FTE Required Qualifications: Bachelor\'sdegree with courses in biological and physical sciences or abaccalaureate-level clinical laboratory education program accredited bythe National Accrediting Agency of Clinical Laboratory Science, theAccrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, an agency recognized bythe United States Office of Education. Current certification as MedicalTechnologist (MT) or equivalent by a national board of registry ASCP. Ifnew grad, eligible to sit for certification is acceptable. Must possessknowledge of lab testing capabilities for Immunohematology, Chemistry,Hematology, Coagulation, Serology, Urinalysis, Microbiology andPhlebotomy.
