Our client is currently seeking a Product Development Engineer

This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Will work cross functionally with other engineers, sales, customers and manufacturing
- Lead R&D projects from beginning to production release
- Create new products that can scale up to manufacturing specifications
- Perform engineering analysis on key components
- Oversee validation and qualification testing on products to ensure alignment with designs are met
- Assist in the qualification of suppliers
- Mentor newer junior engineers
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
- 7+ years of experience in new product development
- Solid technical skills in 3D CAD and 3D CAE
- Experience with full product development life cycle
- Experience within the connector industry is required
