Associate Scientist
Location: Cambridge, MA (Onsite)
Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as an Associate Scientist! We're seeking a dedicated professional with a strong background in biopharmaceutical lab work and HPLC expertise. This is a full-time, onsite position in Cambridge, MA. Relocation candidates are welcome, but must be ready to start immediately.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct experiments, organize data, and analyze results with minimal supervision.
Follow established experimental design and protocols to obtain reliable results.
Transfer experimental methods from literature to the lab, making necessary modifications.
Develop and implement new protocols with moderate review.
Collaborate effectively within a matrix team environment.
Contribute to internal/external reports, papers, presentations, regulatory documents, and patents.
Skills Required:
HPLC expertise and hands-on lab experience.
Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Experience in a biopharmaceutical lab with analytical skills (pH, osmolality, protein concentration, particle sizing, etc.).
Proficiency in using standard laboratory equipment and major laboratory instruments/techniques.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and experimental difficulties.
Experience with Electronic Lab Notebook and Capillary Electrophoresis is a plus.
Education Requirements:
Minimum BS degree (MS is preferred) in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology or related discipline.
At least 2 years of experience in a Biopharmaceutical working environment.
Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience, an Associate's degree and 4 years of experience, or a High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience are acceptable.
