Lab Technician

Actalent is looking for a Laboratory Technician in Garland, TX! If you are interested in this opportunity, please read the details below.

Description/Job Duties:

• Perform Quality Testing on samples
• Preparing and shipping color panel requests
• Utilizing instrumentation in the lab for Quality Testing
• Create reagents and standards for laboratory testing
• Perform coating coil application
• Package and ship customer samples
• Perform calculations and utilize formulas accurately
• Cleaning and Maintaining the Laboratory

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay/benefits:

• $19/hour
• health, dental, and vision insurance
• 401K

Work Environment: This is a chemical production environment and exposure to chemical fumes and debris along with electrical currents and vibrations is common.

Qualifications:

• Chemistry degree (preferred)
• Open to recent graduates
• Looking for people that are interested in/have worked in manufacturing setting

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
