Position Overview: Virology Team - Product Development, Science & Technology
AbbVie's Product Development, Science & Technology Virology team is seeking dynamic candidates to support both pipeline and commercially available products. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities across the product lifecycle, from late-stage process development and BLA/NDA submissions to ongoing market support. Key responsibilities for the role:
- Viral Control Strategies: Develop and implement comprehensive viral control strategies, ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
- Innovative Solutions: Lead the innovation and optimization of new methods, techniques, and experimental approaches to address challenges in viral safety, control, and testing.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Build and maintain effective collaborations with various scientific disciplines. Your work will focus on establishing improved process conditions, enhancing viral control, and refining regulatory strategies.

- BSL-2 Facility Operations: Conduct research involving potentially biohazardous viruses in BioSafety Level 2 (BSL-2) facilities, strictly adhering to safety protocols to maintain a secure laboratory environment.
