Quality Control (QC) Laboratory Technician

Our client is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a QC Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control group supporting various functions across the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a commitment to quality and safety, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Laboratory Technician

Location: Norwood, OH

Shift: 3rd shift: 10:45pm - 7:15am
The employee will start the role on the 1st shift for training and then be moved to the 3rd shift.

What's the Job?

• Conducting conformance testing for designated raw materials, work-in-progress products, and finished goods.
• Developing methods for standard QC instruments such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, MS, and FTIR.
• Performing calibration verification of critical lab equipment.
• Assisting in making and recording pass/fail decisions on materials and documenting results in SAP and LIMS.
• Maintaining appropriate records for lab and maintenance work while ensuring compliance with established quality requirements.

What's Needed?

• Strong analytical background in techniques like GC-MS, HPLC-MS, IC, ICP-MS, and Karl Fischer Titration.
• Experience in a laboratory environment with a focus on quality and safety.
• Ability to work collaboratively with different functions to improve product quality.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Commitment to maintaining an audit-ready state in the laboratory.
