Quality Control Technician

Quality Control Technician Job Description The purpose of this position is to ensure that every part or machine shipped to a customer meets high quality standards. Additionally, the technician will ensure all parts provided to the assembly department meet specifications and can be utilized without alterations. The primary duties are to inspect incoming parts from the machine shop and outside suppliers, complete inspection reports with full information, and perform quality checks on machinery throughout the build process. Perform quality checks on machinery throughout the build process. Essential Skills 1+ year of quality experience in a production environment. 1+ year of inspection experience in a production environment. Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers. Additional Skills & Qualifications General understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is a plus. Engineering or machinist background with the ability to read drawings and schematics is a plus and may lead to a higher pay rate. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a large facility with a close-knit team of 24 employees assembling machines. The dress code includes jeans, t-shirts, and steel-toed shoes. The position is for the first shift, from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, Ohio. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
