We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer who excels in both front-end and back-end development to join our team at Ring.

The ideal candidate must have comprehensive expertise across the entire development stack, with proven experience in both client-side and server-side technologies. You should be comfortable operating in an ambiguous space, demonstrating strong technical ability in modern front-end and back-end technologies. Your full stack proficiency should be complemented by solid project experience in building products and APIs from the ground up.

You must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically across the entire development spectrum. We value innovation, strong communication skills, and team orientation. Your expertise should include working within cross-functional efforts and synthesizing various technologies into highly scalable, user-friendly products. Through CI/CD, we own our tools and drive change through the entire lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Design and build Web Application components, handling both front-end UI/UX implementation and back-end server logic
- Architect and develop complete solutions that seamlessly integrate front-end interfaces with back-end systems
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with a cross-functional agile team to define, design, and ship new features across all layers of the stack
- Identify appropriate release branching and deployment strategies to ensure quality delivery of software
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs in both client-side and server-side code
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization across the entire technology stack

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
