Scientist II - Bioanalytical

Scientist II Location: St. Joseph, MO Duration: 07/01/2025 - 01/01/2027 Shift/Hours: Flexible schedule between 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Overview: Seeking a Scientist II to support analytical development efforts in vaccines, therapeutics, and related biologics. This role involves hands-on testing, method execution, data analysis, and laboratory maintenance in support of process and analytical development. Key Responsibilities: Perform analytical testing of samples in support of process and product development. Set up and execute studies using robust and reliable methods. Assist in developing and troubleshooting analytical methods. Maintain compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and applicable safety regulations. Accurately document data and contribute to technical reports. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to meet project timelines. Participate in training and apply new scientific techniques with minimal supervision. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant scientific experience. Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Immunology, Molecular/Cell Biology, Virology, or related field. Working knowledge of bioanalytical techniques and regulatory guidelines (e.g., USDA, EMA). Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Willingness to learn and contribute to continuous process improvements.
