Perform reliability improvements, service monitoring, hardware and service troubleshooting, and process engineering. Support developers and engineering teams to deliver new features to customers. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
1. Network including experience with network concepts (IP, MAC, Routing) and understanding ping, traceroute, tcpdump, and Wireshark.
2. Experience developing an application service providing including fault-tolerant multi-site design, scalable via multiple layers, and orchestration of CI/CD.
3. Experience with Global DNS Routing, DNS Concepts (Domains, subdomains, and name records); understanding of load Balancing and OSI Model; and experience building an app using multitier web architecture principles.
4. Automation to ensure service reliability, including experience with using VMs, and Kubernetes; and understanding principles of multi-region application architectures.
5. Understand Linux command-line utilities, including experience investigating and troubleshooting performance issues.
6. Experience using various storage platforms ranging from boot device, network-attached storage and Object Stores.
