Job Description

This role will support multiple programs and interact with diverse project teams.

  • Maintain laboratory instruments associated with assay execution in an automation lab.
  • Supporting and/or executing ELISAs and/or viral neutralization assays using automated liquid handlers in support of antiviral drug and vaccine discovery.
  • Assist in general upkeep of the laboratory and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Reliable, reproducible, and precise data collection and record keeping are essential (ELN, Abase, BioAssay, PE Signals, and similar), and compliance with all lab safety guidance is required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in biology, or related discipline (molecular biology, biochemistry, etc.) and 0-2 years of laboratory experience
  • BSL-2 experience is required.
  • Previous experience with viral culture and assays, ELISAs, and familiarity with automation (BioMek FX or i-series, Bravo, Hamilton Vantage) to execute assays is highly desired.
  • Attention to detail, high degree of organization, and ability to work on different projects in parallel is required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with multidisciplinary colleagues is important.

  • Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, generally 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., but may vary to meet the assay needs; overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
