Job OverviewTE Connectivity's Plating Teams operate assigned automated plating machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures
- Conduct routine chemical analysis of all plating lines and waste treatment, making sure all baths are in optimal range.
- Document test results, analyze data, and report findings.
- Conduct periodic inspection of chemicals to assure compliance to safety and environmental standards and requirements along with maintaining required laboratory supplies.
- General lab maintenance and housekeeping.
- Will be required to identify and implement improvements for safety, quality, and productivity.
- Provide support to the Engineering team with laboratory testing and advice as it relates to metal finishing.
- Assume the role of backup waste treatment operator as needed to cover scheduling gaps due to vacation and overtime requirements.
- High School Diploma. Preference for an associate degree in applied science.
- Knowledge of analytical methods and equipment used to maintain electroplating process solutions.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Certified as a DOT Hazardous Material shipper & transporter or will obtain six months after hired.
Physical Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Frequent walking, standing, and sitting will be required on the job.

COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $57,300 - 86,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
