Location: Hybrid/Remote: The successful candidate can work on a Hybrid/Remote basis, reporting into one of our offices located in Pennsylvania or North Carolina.

Why are we hiring a Data Scientist?
We are seeking a skilled and motivatedData Scientistto work with our In Silico & Data Insights team. This role will be instrumental in developing and supporting advanced data visualization and analysis tools, with a particular focus on leveragingmultiple tools to deliver new product offerings. You will work at the intersection of data science, software engineering, and product development to deliver impactful insights and scalable solutions. You will need to be able to action feedback to build solutions in the available tools, test and document completed solutions, and implement those solutions for the client. The Data Scientist will be expected to be able to complete these responsibilities independently, as well as in collaboration with the rest of the team to ensure that product development is completed and documented on time.
What are you responsible for?
- Support products across the In Silico & Data Insights product area with data science expertise as requested.
- Design, develop, and maintain data visualization and analysis tools to add to Instem's product capabilities.
- Documentation of development activities as required by Instem's SDLC
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of In Silico modelling and data-driven insights products.
- Maintaining clear communications with other team members to ensure effective collaboration
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data science methodologies and best practises.
- Adherence to the Company's Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools, preferably Omniscope or similar.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and RESTful API integration and usage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication (written or verbal) and collaboration abilities.
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work well within a small team, working to tight and sometimes challenging deadlines
- Experience in Python, Rust, SQL, and Java for data analysis and software development.
