We are looking for a sharp professional that possesses these top 3 skills:

B.S. in Food Science

Laboratory bench work; experimental experience

GC, HPLC, and/or spectrophotomer experience preferred

Pay: $26-$30.77/hr (Depending on experience)

Schedule: 1st shift

Type of Job: contract to permanent

Location: (Onsite- Elgin, IL)

Food Assistant Scientist Daily Tasks: What you will do:

Conduct bench-scale experimental work to support enzyme product development, including assay optimization, activity testing, and formulation trials.

Responsible for supporting the formulation and development of innovative blended enzyme solutions tailored for various food applications

Responsible for operating and maintaining analytical instruments including Gas Chromatography (GC), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), and UV-Vis Spectrophotometer for qualitative and quantitative analysis

Ensures compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SQF (Safe Quality Food) requirements

Food Assistant Scientist Qualifications/Requirements:

B.S. in Food Science

Laboratory bench work; experimental experience

GC, HPLC, and/or spectrophotomer experience preferred
