Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Lab Technician to support the manufacturing of latex particle reagents used in in-vitro diagnostic products. The role involves hands-on work in both laboratory and bulk production settings, supporting reagent formulation, process validation, and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacture latex particle and buffer reagents at lab scale and in bulk.

Synthesize nano-particles using emulsion polymerization techniques.

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment; perform routine calibration, verification, and preventative maintenance.

Conduct basic analytical tests such as pH measurements, particle size analysis, and UV-Vis spectrophotometry.

Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain accurate documentation.

Assist in equipment and process validation efforts to support scale-up activities.

Comply with change control processes and appropriately document any deviations or nonconformances.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a closely related field, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a chemistry or biology lab environment.

Technical Knowledge & Skills:

Solid understanding of acid-base titration, polymerization mechanisms, and solid-phase chemical modifications.

Proficient in general lab techniques including mixing, filtration, sonication, and centrifugation.

Familiar with safe handling of chemicals and biochemicals.

Skilled in following standard operating procedures and maintaining compliance with quality systems.

Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
