JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The College/Unit of IST is seeking applicants for part-time job of Part time Research Associate.
Job duties to include:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and capable Research Scientist to join our research team in support of two interdisciplinary, NSF-funded projects at the intersection of computer vision, computational biology, and psychology. This position is ideal for an advanced doctoral candidate who has completed all degree requirements except the formal conferral of their Ph.D. The successful candidate will contribute to collaborative research across disciplines, participate in data analysis and algorithm development, co-author scientific publications, and engage with project stakeholders. Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work across fields are essential.
Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:
- All requirements for a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline must be completed prior to start date, with degree conferral expected within 3 months Proven research experience in one or more relevant areas. Strong programming and data analysis skills.
Schedule:
- Work up to 39hours a week with Dr. James Wang
Compensation:
The starting rate for this job is $30.00
